Cole loves to play with his hats!

9 months old!

Time passes by so fast. It felt like just yesterday I was pregnant and trying to imagine what my little boy was going to look like. And now he is becoming more independent and opinionated! Cole turned nine months last week. He is huge and perfectly healthy. Although he has not said any words he knows what things are and will look at them when you ask. He is standing and taking some steps while he is holding on. I have a feeling he will be walking soon!

I just got back from five days in Mexico and it was really hard to leave him for that long. I never thought I would be such a mushy mom but I cried several times because I wanted to hold him so bad. Chris and Cole had a great time without me and now they share a special bond. Cole gets so excited when Daddy comes into the room. Chris did an amazing job handling everything. In some ways I am totally disappointed because I was expecting the house to be a disaster and Chris to be exhausted and ready to hand over my job. But it was quite the opposite, the house was very clean and Chris had Cole's schedule down perfect. Now I know they can survive without me!
