When I was young setting up the Christmas tree meant color coordinating tree limbs and fake branches. My husband grew up with real Christmas trees and can't imagine using a fake tree for Christmas. So we have started the tradition of a family outing to find the perfect tree. This year we bought a tree from two guys from Oregon, it is called a Douglas Fir. We had planned a fun evening of Christmas music, hot chocolate and decorating the tree but Cole had other plans. I

Are you saying you didn't like putting a tree together while mom watched and told us to fluff the branches more? Or putting a whole row of blue branches on, only to realize the blue row should have been the bottom row? hehehe. Thank God for pre-lit trees is all I have to say!
