Dave Ramsey crazy

So we have joined the band wagon and started reading Dave Ramsey. We just began the 13 week course called Financial Peace. But the problem is all of this Dave Ramsey stuff has given me anything but peace. I stress about it everyday! Chris and I recently purchased some land and we have been super excited about building a house. After reading the book Total Money Makeover we realized there are some things we need to do before we build our dream house. We need to get out of debt. So now we are very motivated to pay off the land and our student loans, which will be no quick or easy task.

But we feel completely cramped in our small house, there is no garage, no attic and no storage! We are busting at the seems. We could manage to stay in this house as we are but we want to add to our family sometime soon! I can honestly say that I want to have another baby but I don't want to be in this house. We will have to put a new baby in with either Cole or Raelynn. We gave Raelynn her new room as a gift and it will be difficult for her to share with an infant and if we put the baby with Cole are I am worried they will wake each other up. We don't even have room for another crib so we would have to use a pack and play. I know this sounds terribly spoiled of me since people all over the world live in one bedroom houses. So now we talk about it almost everyday, do we sell our house and buy another one that is a little bit bigger, do we rent for a couple of years, or do we just stay in this house even if it means a new baby has to sleep in our room!

I am so stressed about this and for those that know me I have to have a plan or I feel lost. Everyday I consider all the different plans but none of them bring me peace. We are praying for wisdom. We want to make good financial decisions but we really want out of this house! I guess this is why Dave Ramsey says you have to live like no one else now so later you can live like no one else!

I just wish I had more patience...
